Towards the end of last summer I set myself a challenge to get a design printed by Threadless. One of them ( the cat riding a hamburger ) was selected! Pretty awesome.. I've made like 50 bucks already! :D
While we were living in Argentina I started working on a mobile game idea. My basic plan was:
- Create a fun platformer.
- Create bold iconic graphics.
- Practise frame by frame animation.
- Learn to code.
- Learn about the complete development cycle of creating games.
I've worked on a variety of eLearning projects for clients like 2and2, Reading Eggs, Optusnet and the Department of Education and Technology Australia. Most of them have been targeted towards young schoolchildren with design considerations to age, diversity, colour blindness and indigenous values.
I've been learning Maya for about a year now. I'm not awesome.. but I'm not completely terrible either. I've modelled, rigged, animated and UV mapped a few UI elements for Candy Crush Saga and I created assets for a racing game in Unity ( donut cars and environmental assets ).
